Multi-Award Winning Persian Restaurant in Singapore, Shabestan, celebrates it’s 7th Anniversary with a 7-course menu for $77++ from 7th - 31st October 2020.


“The food was really delicious that it's so hard to choose a favourite. I highly recommend trying Shabestan's Muhamara & Tekeh Masti which were my favourite dishes!”

We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco although you can choose between a glass of wine or a mocktail. As we were group of three, we ordered one of everything so as to try the various appetisers, salads and mains.


We ordered the Muhamara, Kash-e-Bademjan and Borani Esfanaj that were all really delicious. It is fantastic to be able to try a little bit of everything.


I'm not the biggest fan of salads but their salads were really light and fresh which was a great palate cleanser.

For our mains, we ordered their award-winning Shah Pasand Chicken, Lamb Kubideh and Tekeh Masti which were outstanding.

Saffron BBQ Chicken Wings: Selected chicken wings marinated with saffron, fresh lemon juice and Persian herbs


Cucumber Mast🅥: Caspian style Persian yoghurt dips with cucumber


Hummus🅥: Fresh cooked garbanzo beans blended with lemon juice, garlic, tahini and olive oil


Borani Esfanaj🅥: Fresh spinach with fried onion, garnished with sun-dried yoghurt and saffron


Homemade Cheese🅥: Chef's secret recipe topped with olive oil


Salad

Shirazi Salad🅥: Combination of freshly chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onion with dressing


Tabouli Salad🅥: Chopped parsley, onions, tomatoes and olive oil with couscous


Zeytoon Parvardeh🅥: Marinated green olives with walnuts, mountain herbs, spices, pomegranate sauce and fresh pomegranate


Mains

Chicken Kubideh: Tender chicken grounded with saffron, fresh vegetables and grilled to perfection


Lamb Kubideh: Tender ground lamb and whole tomato skewered and char-grilled to perfection


Shah Pasand Chicken: A special recipe from the Gulf, these tender boneless chicken breast are marinated in saffron and herbs


Fish Kebab: Seasonal fish marinated in special saffron sauce, skewered and charcoal-grilled


Tekeh Masti: Tender beef fillet cubes marinated in yoghurt and Persian spices


Impossible™ Kebab 🅥: Impossible meat mixed with Persian spices and fresh vegetables


Sabzi Kebab🅥: Charcoal grilled vegetarian kebab which is done by Chef's special recipe with seasonal fresh vegetables & homemade cottage cheese


Khorest-E-Bamieh🅥: Okra cooked in tomato sauce & garlic, served with basmati rice


Khoreh-E-Ghureh-O Bademjan 🅥: Eggplants braised with green grapes, tomatoes and saffron sauce
